A big thank you to everyone who attended the Frome Remembrance Parade last Sunday - well done to all of the children who were there in our St John's uniform or indeed other uniforms representing their groups such as rainbows, brownies, beavers and cubs. I was extremely proud of all of you.
Last week, we took some time to raise awareness of Anti-Bullying Week by wearing odd socks, reminding us that we are all unique - all different, all equal!
On Friday we celebrated the fantastic work our children have been doing this week with our Headteacher Awards. Well done to: Hector, Tyler, Genny, Elsabeth, Charley, Jaelin, Jesse, Oliver A, Rasmus, Xavvi and Paris!
Everyone also had lots of fun on Friday wearing pyjamas and spotty clothes for Children in Need. We have raised £245 - great job everyone!

What a great end to the week... World Smile Day and receiving our Ofsted Report... We are thrilled!
We celebrated World Smile Day by leaving our school uniform at home and choosng what we could wear. We also spent the day smiling at people. There are some great pictures around the school showing us what makes our children smile.
Of course, on Friday we also celebrated the children's hard work and achievements from the week. Well done everyone!
On Tuesday, Year 2 went to the Bath Literature Festival and met a real author. They were fantastic ambassadors for our school, and there excellent behaviour was commented on by other visitors who were not with our school party. Well done Year 2!
On Thursday Year 3 visited Cheddar Caves, and their sensible behaviour was also commented on by members of the public; they, too, were great ambassadors for St John's. Well done Year 3!
